Important Information Regarding Changes to your Health Savings Account

Q. How do I access my account?
A. You will access your account at www.53hsa.com, and then select Account Access to begin the login steps. Once at the Login page, you will be prompted to enter your Username (enter your current username; if you do not remember it, please call 1-888-350-5353).
Q. Will my username (login) work?
A. Yes, you will use your current username. If you have not logged into your account since February 1st, you will be asked to create a new password and to answer personal identification and security questions before proceeding to your account information.
Q. Will I be able to view my Investment Account balance on the new Web site?
A. Yes, the Fair Market Value of your investments is displayed and updated daily. The Investment Portal is in development; therefore, we are unable to display individual holdings of your mutual funds. Beginning May 1, 2010, you will have full access to view your holdings and you will be able to buy new or sell existing funds.
Q. What features will I have when I am able to buy or sell mutual funds?
A. The new Web site enables you to take advantage of many new features and planning tools such as Automatic Rebalance and Account Projections which will give you better control of your HSA investments.
Q. How do I access the Investment Portal?
A. Once you’ve logged into your HSA, click on Accounts tab at the top of the page, then select Account Summary, then click on the Investment Details link on the Account Summary page.
Q. What if I need to liquidate Mutual Funds before May 1st?
A. If you need access to your funds to pay for a qualified medical expense, you may initiate a distribution from your HSA – if sufficient liquid cash is not available, your investment mutual funds will be liquidated on a prorate basis to fund the distribution. Funds will be distributed to your linked bank account. Until May 1st, liquidation of mutual funds requires that you distribute any available cash from your HSA Cash Account first.
Q. Will my debit card number remain the same?
A. Yes. You will continue to use your current HSA Debit MasterCard® to pay for qualified medical expenses.
Q. Will my checking account number remain the same? And, will I still be able to use my current check supply?
A. Yes, your checking account number for your HSA will remain the same. And, yes, if you have checks, you may continue to use them.
Q. How do I order a new debit card?

Q. How do I report my debit card as lost or stolen?
A. Contact the Fifth Third Bank Support Center at 1-866-706-6464.
