Fifth Third Bank Fee Changes
Fifth Third Bank is implementing several changes to their HSA fee schedule as seen below. You will receive a letter notifying you of these changes, but please note: If you are a current Chard Snyder participant, you will not be charged an HSA Monthly Maintenance Fee until January 1, 2012, regardless of your account balance.
Fifth Third Bank is making changes to the HSA fee schedule, effective
September 1, 2011:
- The HSA Monthly Maintenance Fee will be waived for accounts with a monthly average balance greater than $4,000.00.
- Accounts with a monthly average balance less than $4,000.00 will be debited the HSA Monthly Maintenance Fee as stated on the HSA fee schedule. (Only for new clients that are effective 9/1/11 or after.)
- Any account with no transactional activity within 180 days of account opening will automatically be closed.
- Any account maintaining a $0.00 balance for 16 consecutive months will automatically be closed.
- The HSA Checkbook Fee will increase to $24.99 for a box of 50 checks.
You may review your HSA Fee Schedule at any time while logged into your account. Your HSA Fee Schedule can be located under the ‘Forms’ tab.
