Limited-Purpose FSA Eligible Expenses
Find out more about what’s eligible and not eligible under your Limited-Purpose FSA plan.
A Limited-Purpose FSA allows dental, vision, and preventive care expenses to be paid for on a tax-free basis. The expenses are limited so that an employee can be enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA) at the same time. Reimbursements are only issued for eligible expenses incurred by the employee, their spouse or their eligible dependents. Expenses that occur before the beginning of the FSA plan year are not eligible.
